Lauren Fitzgerald is a storyteller. Her work explores the complexities of morality, the occult, sexuality, boundaries, motherhood, and religion. Those interests were partially inspired by The X-Files, Catholic school, and her mother’s dramatic narration of fantasy novels.

 

She attended UC Santa Barbara and CSU Los Angeles and has a BA in Literature. Her work has received recognition from The Austin Film Festival, NewFilmmakers LA, and MovieMaker Magazine.

 

 Her recent projects include the short film Casual Confession which she performed in, wrote, and directed. Casual Confession premiered at the NewFilmmakers LA Film Festival.

 

Lauren resides in California with her favorite humans.
